For our blog hop we were given the following inspiration photo and sketch:
I was inspired by the Autumn images, and decided to apply that to my photo selection. I chose to scrap a photo I took on my last mountain bike ride of the season, and although it was taken in February, the colours look like Autumn to me.
I started with drops of gold glitter, and then went from there. I used the leftovers of a Paper Bakery kit, and I added the Pebbles title card and the washi tape.
Come and play along with us by simply doing the following:
1. Leave a comment on each blog along the hop.
2. Create a layout inspired by the photo and using the sketch, post it using our link up by NOV 1.
3. Be a follower of Scrapstuffz "Inspired by" Challenge blog.
Thanks for hopping along with us. Your next stop is Adele's awesome blog.
Be blessed

Gorgeous! LOVING the pennants and the splatters!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat page, I love how you used the three pennants instead of one!!
ReplyDeleteLove your mix of papers with plain background! Another beautiful page Melissa!
ReplyDeleteOh, such a unique angle on the photo. Beautiful page!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done Melissa! Love the photo!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Love the bike on the title card and your washi!
ReplyDeleteLove your splatters. Any tips on how to do them...mine never seem to come out right.
ReplyDeleteI add them to nearly every layout, and I just use the straw inside the bottle to drop them on. I always shake the bottle first, and if I want larger ones I use a large paint brush.
DeleteI love the perspective of your photo! NEAT! The splattering of glitter, paint, butterflies and buttons is so fun! And I LOVE how you did the title, too!
ReplyDeleteOooh, neat! Love those tiny buttons. And the pennant cluster under the photo is gorgeous. Cute LO!
ReplyDeleteI love the splattering of bits and bobs! And that strip at the top.
ReplyDeleteLove your perspective on the sketch and photo! I love all the splattering and how you rotated the banners to face down!
ReplyDeleteLove the splatter of ink, glitter, and buttons. And what a bike trip! Sounds like you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteI like this interpretation of the sketch!
