Oh Boy! (Lets Get Sketchy)

Hello hello!! Can you believe that its Team A's second and final reveal for November already over at Lets Get Sketchy?!  This week we had this awesome sketch by Tabitha Triplett:

I recently purchased some of the Close Knit collection by Crate Paper, so I was really keen to use it.  I decided to scrap an older photo of Sam when he was in hospital aged 1.  The photo is of him and my sister in the Pediatric Ward play room.  Hard to believe he was so little!

Close Knit is a lovely homespun collection which reminds me of my Mum who does amazing cross stitch.  I decided to flip the sketch, and use one landscape photo with a journalling tag.  I wanted my paper strips to take on the homespun feel, so I machine stitched around them.  I added my ink splatters, some chipboard, a fussy cut oval, a second smaller tag and some of the wood veneer and I was done.

Here are some close ups, I had to leave the date blank as I need to track down exactly which month this photo was taken.

I just love the chipboard that Crate makes.

Thanks for looking, make sure you head on over to the blog and check out the other creations by the Design Team.

Be blessed
